On March 1st 2010, Hotel de l’Europe will add 23 ultra-luxury suites to its iconic hotel in Amsterdam: de l’Europe Dutch Masters. The newly acquired building, which was formerly the Theodoor Gilissen Bank, has been transformed into a private wing, which has undergone a multi-million Euro renovation and refurbishment. The wing is totally self contained, with private entrance, lobby, food and beverage outlet and meeting facilities. At the time of opening this exclusive wing, Hotel de l’Europe will transition into the beginning of rebranding the entire concept, starting with an extensive restoration and renovation of the main hotel. At the end of this exciting project, this legendary hotel will remain with 109 rooms and suites.
The Hotel de l’Europe is synonymous with top-quality luxury and elegance. The grandeur and magnificence of the new interior, the suites and spacious salons of the new wing make it breathe the fascination of top-class hospitality. The entire wing is a fine symphony of the old and the new, the classic and the modern: A chic and modern style with an authentic touch of the classics. Each suite will be characterized by a copy of a Dutch Master featured in the Rijksmuseum.
Each room has a unique lay-out and interior, from intimate suites to spacious one-bedroom suites with conference table suitable for private meetings. The comfort is underpinned by the latest technology. This private wing offers views overlooking the Amstel River, the city, as well as the glass-covered atrium. Personalized concierge services will be provided to guests, starting before their arrival at the hotel.
The new wing will be headquarters for meetings and important events and includes unique venue space with a distinctive atmosphere: a large library with unique ‘Delft blue’ inspired carpeting, large meeting rooms and state of the art conference facilities.
Body and soul will be pampered by the new health centre, scheduled to open Fall of 2010. With stunning views of the Amstel River, the new, heated indoor pool will provide a relaxed atmosphere in this urban retreat.
